The cold weather and the lack of isolation

November 16th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

The last decades massive expanding in the building sector in Shanghai has really made a mark on the economy in this region. Not only building contractors has made a financial gain, but also suppliers for this sector are having a great business.

Shanghai is one of the cities in world, with the most skyscrapers. Whether it’s because of the extreme demand for the new places to live, or the constructors’ lack of ability, are unknown, but most of these apartments is very bad isolated. During the summer, the temperatures has been bearable because of the possibility to turn on air-condition. But the last couple weeks drop in temperature has made it a gamble, whether you come home to a cold or tempered apartment. It is possible to regulate with air-condition, but when the temperature drops several degrees during night time, it’s hard to dress for the occasion. But this is just the beginning of the winter period, and even now you see people walking with big sweaters and warm clothes inside their apartments. This means an increase for some suppliers; Sweater Suppliers, Sock Suppliers, Coat Suppliers, Textile Suppliers and Scarf Suppliers. These are just some of those that will feel an increase in sale on a range of their products.

So the cold weather is not all bad news. It’s also a time of the year where people have a tendency to get together, December is coming up, which means that all the preparations for Christmas is getting under way. The sights around the cities will also change, because of the shift in temperature, and get their special charm. So there is a lot to look forward to, even though you are sitting in a cold apartment and thinking about the summer.

A government’s influence on the economy

November 9th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

Government’s all around the world have financial tools, that they can adjust depending on the countries certain economic situation. Here we will give you some of the most used tools, and how it should affect industries and companies – we will use Chinese companies as example.

At the beginning of The Economic Crisis, it has for most countries, been a matter of getting their internal affairs stabilized, like the banking system and debts. This has taken quite some time, because it has been worse than first expected, and the problems has been expanded by several banks and companies going bankrupt and closing down.

Now more than 3 years since the beginning of the crisis, governments are trying to boost the economies once again, so that they once again can experience economic growth.

Recently the American government has announced to boost the economy with 600 Billion dollars. They will buy government bonds, and this should help increase the private spending, and then create more jobs. This will inevitably also increase the demand for foreign products, from companies and privates. This could then affect different Chinese suppliers as for example: Non Woven Bag Suppliers, T Shirt Suppliers, Baby Romper Suppliers, Sweater Suppliers, Sock Suppliers, Necklace Suppliers, Wig Suppliers, Puzzle Toy Suppliers, RC Helicopter Suppliers, LED Light Suppliers, Bedding Set Suppliers, Coat Suppliers, Textile Suppliers, Scarf Suppliers, Dresses Suppliers, Wedding Dress Suppliers and Handbags Suppliers.

It is not all good news for the American market, because this boost can end up in an increase of the inflation, which will make goods more expensive.

Another way for the government to interfere in the financial market is by regulating the interest rates. In a situation with economic crisis, the banks will normally lower the rates, so it won’t be attractive for the customers to put their money in the bank. Instead its purpose is to increase the demand for goods, make people spend more money so that the economy can be boosted.

This is just two ways for the government to adjust the economic situation, but there are a lot of tools that they can regulate. These have also been mostly used during the economic crisis, because they are quite easy to adjust and attain an affect.

Will the low Yuan have an effect for Chinese companies?

November 2nd, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

The last decades development in China, have made them one of the world superpowers. Their economy has been growing in an indescribable tempo, and this has increased the pressure on the Chinese currency.

China is one of the four BRIC countries, which have been predicted to get an even bigger impact on the world economy within the next 50 years. The three others is; Brazil, Russia and India. Most of these economies have been growing quite rapidly the last years, but especially during the economic crisis, China has been experiencing a significant growth compared to other countries around the world. They have been able to buy Spanish government bonds, and have also promised to buy Greek bonds once they are on sale again.

Some of these European countries are on the verge of bankruptcy, and it’s only with the help from other financial institutions, that they have been able to keep their head over water. This also changes the perception about the relative economic strength between former “big” and new “developing” countries – it’s a situation that we have to get use to.

As mentioned earlier this will automatically increase the pressure of the countries currency and this has been debated very lively the last couple of weeks. Especially USA and IMF believes that the Chinese currency is unnaturally low and has been held down, to make the US export to China more expensive.

Internally in a country, the rise or lowering of a currency won’t have influence on the companies’ competitive strength. But once you include other countries, this has a big saying. When the Yen is still low, it enables the Chinese companies like Non Woven Bag Suppliers, T Shirt Suppliers, Baby Romper Suppliers, Sweater Suppliers, Wig Suppliers and LED Light Suppliers to get a competitive advantage, because it’s cheaper for importers to buy Chinese products compared to other countries products.

So in industries where companies compete on price, the currency is a very important and the companies will be very volatile towards a currency change. But it’s impossible to keep everyone happy, especially during a economic crisis, and USA and IMF are scared for their countries competitive ability in the future.

Organic Clothing

October 18th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

Through time there has been a great development in apparel and clothes. Research and the innovative thinking from a lot people, have enabled us to develop new ways of manufacture these items.

One way is to produce organically. The first time I heard the word Organic Clothing, I thought it was just another bad sales trick, from a creative marketing guy who had to sell some useless products. This is a lot of years ago, and today I have another view on this subject.

People, including myself, have been made aware of the increasing problems that we are causing to the planet, by polluting. It also affects our health that we are exposed to so many different chemicals, and people start to develop allergies and other deceases, that they have to live with, for the rest of their lives. This also includes the clothes that we wear. You might have seen that is says 100 % cotton in the back of a shirt – but it’s not the whole truth. Clothes are usually being manufactured with toxic chemicals, which can have an affect on your health. On the other hand, organic clothes, also referred to as natural clothing, are completely natural and manufactured without toxic chemicals. All the materials are grown organically, which is also a way of decreasing the amount of pollution.

This gives a lot of manufactures, such as T-Shirt Suppliers, Sweater Suppliers or Sock Suppliers, a chance to think in a whole new way. They can change their target market, and create a new profile for their company, with focus on green and environmental friendly products.

The biggest issue for the manufactures and sellers is the price of the products. They cannot compete with the “regular” clothes manufactures, because they can produce at a much lower cost. But because of the change in peoples mind and the increasing focus eco friendly products, they are more willing to pay the extra price. A lot of governments also support with subsidies for Fairtrade suppliers, which increases their competitive ability. So there are a lot of reasons to start an eco friendly production.

Niche Products – good or bad in an Economic Crises?

October 14th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

What part of the industries had the hardest time during the Economic Crisis? Is it the big companies or the smaller niche companies or maybe a mixture of the two? This, we will take a closer look at in the article.

The story about the Economic Crisis has been told several times, and had affected a lot of people on the way, both economically and emotionally. The crisis was triggered back in 2007 with a shortfall in the liquidity, the stock market was in freefall and the same happened to the house market. It was, by experts, compared to The Great Depression back in the 1930’s, and the crisis still has its toll on people today. The economy is still unstable, and even though commentators sometimes says that it has passed, markets are still at a low, and restrictions are still implemented to gear up the economy. Greece is a good example. They have just been declared bankrupt. Spain and Italy, who was earlier well respected and functioning economies, are now on the verge of bankruptcy as well. These are all signs that we are not back on track.

Looking at certain industries, there is no doubt that the ones who has been affected the most are; banks, insurance companies, real estate agents etc. But also smaller niche companies like Baby Romper Suppliers, Necklace Suppliers, Wig Suppliers etc., has been through a rough period where normal buyers, haven’t been able to afford their products. These small niche companies, that survived the crisis, are on their way back despite the current unstable situation in the markets. They have proven to have a healthy business and a good product; else they wouldn’t have made it through.

Most of the bigger companies has also been affected, but have had the necessary liquidity and size to overcome this period, even though a lot of employees were fired.

What the next couple of years will bring is hard to say. The BRIC countries will probably play an even bigger role, and the western countries needs to put up a good fight to uphold their competitiveness. The big question is whether it’s going to be sufficient or not.

Weather change – Global Warming or not?

October 13th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

The last week has brought us a major change in the weather in Shanghai – what can be the reason and who will it affect?

Just two weeks ago, citizens in Shanghai were complaining about the warm weather with temperatures reaching 35 degrees Celsius. This late summer weather has since been replaced by cold, wet and windy weather, and a 10 degrees drop from one day to another. These drastic changes in temperature, has several effects on citizens, nature and industries – but what causes them and how do they have an affection?

The latest century has been affected by a still bigger change in the weather. Some say that the temperatures have always been very unstable, while others believe that it’s caused by Global Warming. Scientist, supporting the theory of Global Warming, implies that if we keep living the way we are now, the earth will transform, and the climate would be similar to the Stone Age. During the last generations, global temperatures have increased by approx. 0.6 degrees Celsius. This also means that water levels have increased, and a lot of low laying areas at the sea, is at risk of being flooded.

The weather also effects human beings and industries, because of the more rapid and extreme changes. People have to be able to adapt and change basic things as what clothes to wear, when to harvest and so on – very basic things but also very important. This means that companies like Sweater Suppliers, Sock Suppliers and T-Shirt Suppliers has to be very adaptable, so their products will follow the seasons. This is a big challenge, but if they succeed, the companies will have a big advantage, compared to their competitors.

Whether we can this “problem” ourselves or if it’s just nature way, will be left to the experts to discuss, but at least we should try to make a difference. If not for ourselves then for the generations to come.

Toys – for kids or adults?

October 8th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

Maybe you remember when you were young, and the only toys that were available were pets, bricks and a ball. But times have changed, so toys now a day are not only restricted for kids, but adults are also able to play along.

Ever since the beginning of time, children have been playing with toys, whether they have used objects from nature or a more “modern” teddy bear, it has always been known as a way of having fun and entertaining oneself. Many items have been produced to serve as toys, but goods produced for other purposes can also be used to play with. A child might pick up a piece of household and “fly” it around the house like it was an airplane. Of the more traditional, but still very popular, toys producers there is for example Puzzle Toy Suppliers and Teddy Bear Suppliers. These haven’t lost their popularity throughout the years, and probably never will.

Toys and playing in general is very important for young people, so that they can learn more about their identity, body and helps it grow strong. This will also make them develop some abilities that they can use as adults.

Today, more modern and digital toys have been developed. These have a much broader target group than traditional toys, because everyone can be part of the game and have a good time. Look at for example RC Helicopter Suppliers or Computer Suppliers, where both young and adults are able to interact and play with each other. These modern toys will often challenge kids to use their capabilities and coordination in another and, some may say, a more proficient, manner.

Computers have a multiple function, because most people use it for work, but it’s also used for games and play. This enables young people to learn how a computer functions in a young age, and gives them the basic working skills for their future.

Batteries

September 29th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

Batteries are being used in a variety of different units. Here is a little bit of information about batteries.

2010-09-13 – www.easy2bid.com

A battery is an electrical component containing stored energy, making said energy available to units connected to it. Den correct name for a battery is actually ‘element’ but the term battery is used for single and multiple connected cells alike. In the most common type of batteries the energy is stored elektro-chemically (galvanized cells). Other ways of storing the energy are elektro statically (condensators) and fuelcells. Some batteries must be disposed of when used up while others can be recharged. A battery that can be recharged is referred to as an ’accumulator’. The word batteri comes from being able to connect multiple units or cells in order to produce a greater effect. The scientific and technological term for a batteri is ’transducer’.  Batteris are very useful in our daily life, as well as clothing and LED products. But don’t like Non Woven Bag Suppliers , T Shirt Suppliers or Sweater Suppliers, Battery Suppliers needn’t change there style all the time.

Usabillity

Electrical batteries are being used on a large scale in different units such as cars (accumulators), mobile phones, and torches. In preprogrammed units such as computers, televisions receivers, and cameras special batteries are used. All batteries loose a certain amount of energy, even when they are not being used. This means that all batteries have a limited durablillity. Heat or high temperatures will further shorten that durabillity. Thus, batteries should preferrably be kept out of direct sunlight. Cold or low temperatures on the other side, increases the durabillity. If kept in a freezer batteries can preserve the energy for several years.

Disposing of Batteries

Used batteries pose a great threat to the environment if they are not treated correctly after being used up. But, if being treated correctly, actually a lot of the materials in batteries can be re-used. Since it is impossible to imagine a world without batteries paying attention to disposing of batteries in a way that is environmentally sound, must be considered a top priority.

The Golden Words

September 27th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

When selling any kinds of products via the internet, it is extremely important to choose keywords and then repeat them in perpetuity.

2010-09-15 – www.easy2bid.com

The purpose of using keywords is SEO or Search Engine Optimization. Said in another way keywords are chosen or manufactured because they are the words people use when using search engines. The idea is that by posting different kinds of material on the internet, material which contains the keywords, people when using the different search engines will find links to a company’s products.

The contents of these different postings don’t really matter. What matters is repeating your keywords over and over again, thus making it more probable that someone will stumble onto your products. Let’s say you have a group of products that you want to promote, such as Comforters, Silk Bedding Sets, Non Woven Bags, Handbags, Sweaters, Photo Frames, Wigs, Pet Products, Children’s Clothes, Sweaters, T-Shirts, Baby Rompers, Socks, Necklaces, Wigs, Puzzle Toys, R/C Helicopters, and LED Lights. For these products you could use keywords such as “Comforters Suppliers”, “Silk Bedding Set Suppliers”, “Non Woven Bag Suppliers”, “Handbag Suppliers”, “Sweater Suppliers”, “Photo Frame Suppliers”, “Wig Suppliers”, “Pet Product Suppliers”, “Children Clothing Suppliers”, “Sweater Suppliers,” T Shirt Suppliers”, “Baby Romper Suppliers” and so on. The keywords can then be turned into hyperlinks leading back to the products that you want to promote. The keywords are not chosen randomly.

Hundred of thousands of surveys are being conducted to discover which words are the most effective words to use as keywords. Oft times you will see that the contents of the postings, containing the keywords are full of faulty spelling and grammatical errors. This is most likely due to the fact, that it is more important to write the keywords exactly like they are rather than posting an article with interesting or even correct contents. Thus, writing a sentence like “RC Helicopter is fun to play with” is considered better than writing “R/C Helicopters are fun to play with”. So, when you see that kind of writing, don’t assume right away that it is written by idiots, but instead take it for what it is; a calculated, deliberate marketing strategy.

How to Use Keywords

September 25th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

Most companies operating on the internet know and use Keywords for promoting their company and products.

2010-09-14 – www.easy2bid.com

The name of the game is “Search Engine Optimization”. The purpose of using keywords is that people when using a search engine, such as Google or Yahoo, will hopefully find the company or the products which the company is trying to promote. Thus, by writing their keywords into articles, press releases, and newsletters and posting them on the internet, on blogs, news sites, and news services, the companies hope that potential customers will inadvertently find their company or their products.

The Method

The companies doing business on the internet, whether it be B2b or B2C will employ a number of people whose job is to write about the things or products that the company is looking to promote, using the keywords as much as possible, so that people searching the internet may find said products. Say for instance that a company was looking to promote products such as Comforters,  Silk Bedding Sets,  Non Woven Bags,  Handbags,  Sweaters,  Photo Frames,  Wigs,  Pet Products,  Children’s Clothing, Sweaters, T-Shirts, Baby Rompers, Socks, Necklaces, Puzzle Toys, RC Helicopters, and LED Lights. In that case they would have somebody write a lot of articles about these products using the words that the company has decided on. The keywords aren’t necessarily exactly the same as the name of the products. They are designed for being most likely to be found in a search engine.  Let me give a few examples of keywords for different products. These examples are all from the homepage of the Danish internet company EasyBizChina. I shall mention the product followed by the keyword. Comforters (Comforter), Silk Bedding Sets Suppliers(Silk Bedding Set), Non woven bags Suppliers(Non Woven Bag), Handbags Suppliers (Handbag), Sweaters Suppliers (Sweater), T-Shirts Suppliers (T Shirt), Baby rompers Suppliers (Baby Romper), Socks Suppliers (Socks), Photo frames Suppliers (Photo Frame), Wigs Suppliers (Wig), Pet products Suppliers (Pet Product), Children’s clothing Suppliers (Children Clothing), Necklaces Suppliers (Necklace), Puzzle toys Suppliers (Puzzle Toy), R/C helicopters Suppliers (RC Helicopter), and LED lights Suppliers (LED Light).

Not Retarded

The attentive reader will notice that the keywords are all singular, ‘Bag’ instead of Bags. The reason for this is that surveys have shown that people predominantly use words in the singular when they use search engines. This means that you will quite often find articles containing sentences that seem wrong or incorrect. This isn’t necessarily because the people writing them are retarded, but simply because what matters are not the contents, as much as using as many keywords as possible. You may see a sentence like “China Manufacturer sell many Children Clothing”. The actual meaning of this sentence is “Chinese manufacturers sell a lot of children’s clothes”. This sentence isn’t incorrect because the person writing it doesn’t know that it is incorrect. It is incorrect because what matters is to use the two keywords or key phrases, “China Manufacturer” and “Children Clothing”. So, the next time you read something like that, you will know why. Oh, by the way – can anyone guess what I do for a job?
